About Us
DESMONARCHY MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED was incorporated in August 2008 to carry on the business of providing Microfinance as well as other Banking and Financial services in Nigeria. The bank was formerly registered as MONARCHY MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED before a change of name was effected in 2009.

The bank's head office was relocated from No. 633, Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Abule Taylor, Lagos to the YCT COOP BUILDING, FOOD VILLAGE, YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, YABA, LAGOS in March 2011. A customer meeting point is still maintained at the former head office to cater for our teaming customers from that axis.

DESMONARCHY MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED has been repositioned, in line with the regulators' guidelines, to provide modern banking services, at competitive costs, in a cosy and secured environment, delivered by a highly competent team.

The bank has a customer base of over four thousand, who subscribe for different categories of accounts and special products. The bank's services are also enhanced by its robust on-line-real-time software package (PARTNER) which makes our services even more efficient and customer friendly. The bank has also deployed a very user friendly money transfer software application to power it's wikicash local money transfer service.
